I have plus! using a custom sound when my contacts sign in. When I am in boss mode I here the default msn sound for contacts signing in. If I go out of boos mode the plus! sound goes off even if it's been 5 mins since the contact signed in. Is this a bug or is it programmed to be delayed? I am using :

Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 7.0.0425
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.40.0112.

isnt it cause u have many programs open or alot of RAM usage

but be warned what i just said isnt 100% true, this is how i understand the problem

No I am sure this is a plus! bug as for some reason instead of my custom sound I here the default one. Then when I go out off boss mode the custom one plays and my contact has appeared to just have signed in. When they haven't they did 5 mins ago when the default sound played.
