When you are invited the subject is:
Check out Windows Live Messenger
And the "From:" part is the email of the person inviting you.

It all greatly depends on when you were invited, in which countyr you live, etc... etc...

Remember that invites from MS are also send in batches. And above all, it depends from where they are send and when, who send it and why, etc.... Not all mails are exactly the same!

It can only be the first (Someone send you an invite) or the last (Microsoft feels you're very special), since I didn't join a beta program and I didn't contact MSN.

I'd say the last Microsoft feels you're very special going by the email address of the sender. This is the address Microsoft is using for sending out invitations to potenial beta testers

Officially no. The Beta chats are only for the members of the Managed Windows Live MEssenger Beta.

To put it very bluntly: that means jack-sh*t. Those fields can easly be spoofed. Never judge the authenticity of an email on the sender's email address!

When I sent a invite to somebody the mail looked like this:

Yes Cookie, i know these can easily be forged. I was just trying to differentiate between the whether the invite was sent from someone else or from Microsoft. Of course the message headers should be checked to verify the authenticity of a e-mail such as this.

In this case, invites sent from a particular person will most probably have the same (or very similar) message headers as Microsoft servers are still sending the message on someone elses behalf. Thus the only other way to differentiate between the two is by looking at the email address (or at least that i know of)
