Hi there!

Put a personalised status on my msn name this morning but now it won't let me change my name, so i'm stuck with that status. Tried signing off and on again but no luck.

Just change your msn status to 'online' and it should go away.

i know its not a  proper solution but you could see if it chages if  you change your nick in the conversation window ( /nick [enter text])

Thanks for the replies but neither of those work. I just get a pop-up saying my display name could not be changed at this time please try later!

this has happened to my friends occasionally, it normally goes away after a while, did you try restarting msn

You can try to change your name later, as for no reasons, I cant update my address book now >_<...

So I think MSN servers are experiencing problems now...Just wait for a while...

Anyway, did you put ur personalised status at one computer then went to another computer and try to change it back to ur original username? If you did, it wont change ur username back to the original one...

Must be that msn servers are experiencing trouble I can't even block anyone now.
