My friend is getting a messagebox saying "Some content was not installed. Please try again later to install the remaining content" when he clicks on "Instal" button. And none of the emoticons are installed...

How to fix it?

Restarting Messenger/Restarting the computer doesn't work.

hmmm I thought i cleared this up with the dog icon

It's been the only problem so far the & symbol so i renamed it to dog otherwise it should work

I'm off to bed now anyway and college tomorrow so I can't really help right now.

OOO before i go an idea, It could be a registry or messenger related error eg try repairing messenger.

OR what happened to me before when i had trouble downloading any dynamic content is that there is a slight problem with IE which can affect installation, I can't remember how i fixed that error first i'd see if they can install any content at all? then try other approaches
