hi, my english no good sorry.

my msn name a turkish man. no extentions ( for example : george@hotmail.com or john@hotmail.com)

allday 20-30 new msn contact . i'm direct blocked all.

now, 130 active, up to 1000 blocked contact.

my msn, within  15 minute online.to use: cpu 70%-80, 100 mb ram.

i think , i need a msn cleaner.

because , i deleted a contact, also deleted me = not deleted my block list.

i hope to tell my problem.

Go to tools > options > privacy and rightclick on the name in the blocklist, if delete isn't greyed out you can delete that contact (it means they deleted you).

If you got Plus! installed you can also make use of the Contact List Clean-Up (in main screen: Plus > Contact List Clean-Up).

Any other cleaner you might find isn't working anymore since Windows Live Messenger caches your contactlist.

This is a very old program, but it should still work.
It is able to show and clean all your lists (contact list, allow list, block list and reverse list). But pay attention to what is said and explained in the many windows and dialog boxes....

But remember that when you clean out your lists, and especially your block list, that:
1) You can only remove people who don't have you anymore on their own contact list !
2) When you remove people from the block list, they will be unblocked.
3) If you completely remove people from all your lists, they will be able to contact you again and you will recieve a "add this contact to your contact list" confirmation box again if they add you again.

As for the actual problem: having so much blocked contacts, some tips:
- Don't spread your email address on the net! Only give it to the people you trust.
- Don't add random people, only add people you know.
- Enable the option "only contacts in my allow list can see my status" in the Messenger options if you didn't already have it enabled.
