I'm not sure if this would be better as a script, but here it goes.

The latest version of WLM allows users to be signed into multiple locations at once. This was good for a while since it allowed me to have complete records of chat logs, but for the past few months WLM hasn't been sending messages to both computers properly, this means that there are all kinds of scattered messages and incomplete logs.

So my request is a tool that could be used to roll log from 2 computers together into one set of logs.

There is a script that can do this (which may or may not work on the latest version of Messenger)

Or you could use something like DropBox to upload your chatlogs online, therefore you won't have to deal with them on multiple computers as they'll be in one central location which can be edited by any computer you use Messenger & Messenger Plus! Live on (as long as you set the chatlog location to be the same)

Besides a feature like this, I think the chat log should be written again from scratch.

I think the most important part that should be incorperated is to index the logs using the Windows Search engine. That and just so many others things: Example show by different terms such as instead of date folder, contact and log size, etc to of course searching by these same terms. Save DPs (in a compress and small format), save winks (such as reproduce the wink in the chat log), save voice clips, save emoticon sounds, etc etc.

The chat log is a feature IMO that should be rewritten almost from scratch. And I also think it was the first feature that intially Messenger Plus! was made for right? Messenger's log pretty much is on par (yes Plus' Chat Log still beats it but)
