There is a script which can do this which has been mentioned.

I hope this is what you're looking for!

While NagamasaAzai is going to post the link, I also need to mention that such notifiers don't work anymore as "open window notifiers".

This is because a very long time ago MSN changed the way it reports such events to the Messenger client. In fact, the event which is triggered when a contact opens a chat window with you is also used in many other events like viewing a display picture, contact card, you looking at offline messages, etc... etc... in short, whenever a "switchboard session" is opened.

In other words, they are seriously inaccurate to notify you when someone opens a convo window (eventhough people say it works for them or say they can indentify the false alerts).

Hence why such notifiers should now be called "open sessions notifiers" as that accuratly describes what they actually do.

A big discussion on this can be found here:

Another one of such Session Notifiers is "Live Notifier", found here:

EDIT: Please refer to "CookieRevised's reply to Question regarding a "close msg window logger"" for further reference which explains everything (<= is also a call to other helpers). This also goes for people asking for links to such notifiers as to answering questions about them or why they don't work...
