Yes it is because I downloaded and installed it and i see 23rd november at the about window. Maybe when you donwload it your browser gives you a cached copy instead of the one at www.msgplus.net

I knew I would get the 'cache question' ... No, cache is off, I don't use cache... Cache that was present from few months ago (when I turned cache on for a while) is deleted... Browser was restarted... Tried also different download-maps, names, etc... Also, I tried different browsers, all the same... all very strange...
Anyways, I got the 'nov 23rd'-version now via Underlord...

I got a auto update for messenger plus, as soon as it was installed i got a virus warning..

It's name is Dropper.swicer.A , after running my anti virus program it was luckely removed.

will the deleting of her file affect her MsgPlus function?

My avg updates every 2 days, so that can't be it, how ever every function seems to do it so i don't think it affected the msnplus

AVG just seem to have some personal grudge with my sponsor... as I said, you don't have to worry about that, no other virus detects anything in my setup package

after the warning i got while downloading messenger plus, i started my avg anti virus program, it dit found the virus and it heald and removed it by it's self , i really don't have any problems now.  The other thing i standerd do if i have a virus, is cleaning the temporary internetfiles just i case there is still something there.

Hmm, it's dodgy that AVG acts differently to most other anti-virus programs, but as others have said, if you just ignore it, Plus! should work fine.

I seem to have got a virus called Trojan horse Dropper.Swicer.A

I am having trouble removing it and so searched the web for advice. Almost all references to this new virus say it is caused by a messenger plus update. Is this true?

Also has anyone heard of it and does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Please help as am new to this and have tried to run AVG virus scan and this does not work.
