Trying to find a program in your first language on an English website is probably very difficult. I understand that English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, and most people learn it a bit, but there must be some who don't understand any, and since you've made a multilingual program, it could help to make your site multilingual as well.
Well, Messenger Plus! is distributed in many other sites other than msgplus.net, so u dont really need to know english, u can just google it and find a website in ur language distributing it.
There are tons of websites like mess.be in every languages

yep... unfortunately, that would be very hard. However, I plan to add multi-language support on msgplus.net in the next version of the site, and for very few selected pages only. As for the forum, I already thought about it but what's the point? nobody would ever go in the multi-lang section (IRC is a good example of that).
This is a good idea

And find cracked/dodgy versions?
I realise how hard it is (to several people), but with PHP and a cookie it probably wouldn't take up too much space... or a lot of work, because there are many translators for each language? But I agree with you on the forums.
Please visit my site, Lamerde, by clicking this broken picture. It's intentional. Honestly.

RE: Patchou ?
i think even the bable fish translation is almost enough. gfdd just has to figure out the formatting for long languages that take up more space than english
-------------------
i'd give a french translation but i dont remember anything after 8 years of french class

No not really, the online translators are very crappy, and the site would look very unprofesional with these babelfish translations
I would have no problem in translating the tutorials/FAQs, as i was going to translate them and make a site... but then MP!3 was announced to be released 'soon' and now i dont see the point to do it

It's a great idea in theory although I cant exactly see the point as Patchou said we had lots of irc channels yet the English was the only one used really
