"Messenger Plus! Tester" or "Messenger Plus! Testers" group for users in the About Box of the latest version of Messenger Plus!.  I do it at my forum, just thought i'd suggest it here.  (Elite members would over-ride this)

I read the suggestions in another thread about special titles or images for testers/translators... maybe I could do something like that, because it's a nice idea...

I don't want to create a whole new usergroup just for a title though, and I don't want to set every user's title separately... I'd have to code a special feature for it.

I dunno about the Plus! 3 list, but Plus! 2 has lots of names... probably even people who contributed just one little thing...

I dont really see the need, if the user wants can't they have it as their avatar caption or in their signature?

Creating a whole lot of work for nothing really..

You getting sick of "Non-Elite Member" or something?

Not only 100% spam, but 100% nonsense, because I already have an admin title...

I don't really see the need though...Being Plus! 3 tester doesn't mean very much on the forums (for example, after Plus! 3 is released, every one is able to help others, and saying "Oh well, it was me who discovered the bug when I tested the beta" won't be very meaningful), and you have got enough fame when your name is shown in About box

I'm agreed, not more seperate and grouping please. Isnt the about box enough?

But it could be nice for those members who'd want it

The problem will be with people who are elites (or mods/admins), beta testers and translators.... where do they go?

about the title, you'd have to put too many things (tester, elite, translator) or allow a person belong to 2 or more groups and he'd have the titles of all of them.

if finally someone *cough*guido*cough* makes a couple of images for testers and translators, you could add them below the title if they're small, and/or let the person have them in his/her sig... dunno..

Or they could have an image with Msgplus Tester instead of Stars?  or  Over layed on top of the stars?
