I cant quite understand one little thing. Why do people think this is so gr8?? I mean msn5 isnt hundred times better then 4.7... So Whats the big deal??

no, but it's new, and for most people it's nicer... so we want to keep current, and if mp2 allows us to choose between two versions that's better. Before, we had to stick with 4x windows messenger anyway...
and msn5 has a couple of new features

yep, people are nie here, for sure. For Messenger 5/XP compatibility, it's for you, not for me . I prefer using Windows Messenger 4 and if it was only me, I would have waited that Windows Messenger 5 is released. But to make all of you happy, I've added a Messenger 5/XP compatibility mode (note that Messenger 5 in any other Windwos just work very fine, as in Messenger 4).

Well I think that MP2 will be the greatest add-on for MSN Messenger. I've been using other add-ons, but they only caused problems with the messenger. 6 months ago i downloaded MP1 and it was great, but I updated my MSN, to the newest version, and some things didn't work anymore , so i deleted it. i heard about MP2, and began to come to the forum more often, to read the newest updates. I must say that www.mess.be, is a great supporter of Patchou too. MP2 is free too, Patchou dedicated his time to make such a great add-on for us, we must be thankful for that, and be proud of him, dedicating his free time to make such a great add-on, although i didn't try it out yet, I've heard from people that MP2 is the BEST!!!!.

The api for MSN 5 in winXP was different than the one used in 4x... and MS didn't release enough info...
