it's a great idea anyway.
patchou once came up with an idea about scripting. i was eagerly looking forward to that, but at last he didn't implement it.

i dont think u will ever be able to do the remote run system, that would be too .

I gaurentee Patchou has already seen the post and read many of the replies and ideas that come with it. I just believe he cant answer yet LoL


But i think its an amazing idea.

I mean c'mon... it wont be like a small feature... it will be BIG, mIRC scripting is talked about all over etc and even has websites for it.

If Patchou implements a cool scripting language, with a GUI just for simplicity... then it will be good for both advanced and beginner users.

It doesnt neccasarily just have to be for an auto-away message, if it was big enough it could be to script MANY different cool features and stuff... I know the plugin feature allows you to add features but im sure theres many other things u could do with this idea...

Great idea, hope someone WILL make that kind of plugin. looking forward to it.

Sounds like a good idea to me, but it should use a nice and simple GUI, but maybe it saved the advanced away's into a .ini file or something, which could be edited manually that way aswell, as for commands (write, send etc) only a few and it shouldn't allow other plus commands in the answers (like /ping etc), like only allow "write" "send" or something. but its all up to Patchou

i very much doubt that. that is a realy horrible thing to do, i would never ask for anything like that...just wrong.....makes u no better then a hacker

well .. i guess you know well all your contacts,  as you only add to the contacts those you want to add .. .

there will never be the ability to do remote /run for the exact reason you have just said, the only thing i can see it doing is a confirmation message saying "xxx wants you to change your screen name to ... do you accept"

but that would be v annoying, so i doubt the feature wud be implemented at all
