Theres tons of errors in Messenger Plus! 3, and I have written a txt file with the ones I found at first glance.
Its 7 kb worth in Notepad, so theres no way in hell Im typing them up here with the bold text and whatnot.

Translator better grab this and read it on his own

We discussed many of these when we translated the previous version of Plus!, and found that we'd use capital letters for special functions. However... I have changed them (and some others) as I found your suggestions to be better.
Since you're so committed to finding errors, why not sign up as a translator (seriously)? The translation team disappeared in the middle of the translation, so we could sure use a proofreader.
I was near giving up doing this alone, but Leif and my sister appeared on the scene, and has been of great help.

So you translated the entire program yourself, jOWE? That's remarkable... There's 5 active translators on the Danish team, and still we had to do 3-4 pages each. Phew. (no big deal compared to the correction work afterwards, though!)

On a side note, True Neo, I believe that 'Online Hjelp' should be changed to either 'Online-hjelp' or 'Onlinehjelp'. I'm pretty sure that would be the correct way in Danish, anyway.

in that case, Zred, it would be "Online-hjelp".
I didnt change it because it honestly didnt sound that fuxx0red XD

And this .ini file of the norwegian translation is NOTHING compared to the eMule Plus .rcu file. It was like double the size and I translated the entire shit in 3 days or so.
Errors werent THAT many, only like 10 or so.

just tell me where and how to apply and Im there.

No, I didn't translate all of it myself. Had two translators with me for a couple of hours or so - but suddenly nobody seemed to care anymore. Was downhill from there
I've helped my sister translate for EA, so I collected a favor - she helped me when the deadline became too scary.
But as you say... The worst work is trying to spot errors/bad spelling afterwards.
If Patchou made an language-update feature in Plus!, there wouldn't be so much rush when releasing a new version. Just a thought.

Yeah, agreed... There should without a doubt me made a special translating program. Something like Choli's program, only absolutely complete with all features... I mean auto-ampersands, text length control...
A program that would automatically take care of all that boring technical stuff that we spend at least 30 % of our time on as thing are atm. So that you'd in theory never have to look at the actual language file...

Well, why do you save it in Unicode, then? Just makes it twice as big. And simple languages like Norwegian certainly don't need Unicode. A typical ANSI language!

Collides with &Bruk

No ampersand

No space before colon (only (??) the French have that!)
TruncateNamesCheck=&Avkort kontaktnavn lengre enn (tegn) :

Does & before an é work? Not on my keyboard anyway!
OnlineCheck=Aktiv&ér Messenger Plus!-varsling når kontakter logger på.
But try to use &A on ALL instances of Aktivér if possible!

Ampersand missing:
MenuConfig=Konfigurer...

And you've got far too many periods/full stops (.) for my taste.
Don't use your own (your sister's??) standard.
For example, this one looks plain silly:
"Tekstbryting."
