RE: Plus! 3 Norwegian corrections
Would you look at that?
Half the size in ANSI
I usually just save - and it saves. I have never noticed that choise before, strangely enough.
Norwegian is a silly language, and I'm just trying to preserve that stupidity . Shortening the sentences left me standing with a word instead of a sentence - darn. I'll keep it this way for now, but I get your point.

Yeah, agreed... There should without a doubt me made a special translating program. Something like Choli's program, only absolutely complete with all features... I mean auto-ampersands, text length control...
A program that would automatically take care of all that boring technical stuff that we spend at least 30 % of our time on as thing are atm. So that you'd in theory never have to look at the actual language file...
IS heaven a place on earth? Don't think so. I agree with you, but this is not what I meant. I was thinking of a way for users of Plus! to automagically get a hold of the latest translations. I believe it has been discussed elsewhere, but it didn't come through. It's no need to update the complete setup-distribution, just compile a language-pack - which Plus! can versioncheck or something. I see there's an update-link, but I'm not sure if the language update whas/is meant to be included there.

You should check your inbox, j-man
And Leif: In all my life I have never seen a Norwegian write a space before the colon after a sentence or a word.
So this is pure bollocks XD
If you meant something else then my bad

RE: Plus! 3 Norwegian corrections
Some small (technical) corrections:
[ContactPopupMenu]
original: ContactInfo=&Informasjon om konta kt ...
fixed: ContactInfo=&Informasjon om kontakt...
[PrefDlg.MsgQuickTexts]
original: MessageTip=Hvis du vil spesifisere flere enn én melding eller komman do , starter du en ny linje..............................
fixed: MessageTip=Hvis du vil spesifisere flere enn én melding eller kommando, starter du en ny linje..............................
[Dialog.Preferences]
This is too long: ListHelpers=Meldingshjelpere
If you select it in the preferences then it becomes bold and thus it will not fit anymore in the box... But because this is 1 word, I assume it will be hard to replace/change it...
PS: Indeed, the use of points is sometimes a bit too much
PSS: Removed your language from the "mistake"-overview in http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=25594

Well, now you've "seen" one, haven't you? And what is the reason for this, you might ask? Well, as I mentioned the French do this. They also put a space in front of exclamation marks and question marks. So in the DefaultLg.dat there are some 10 spaces before colons. And if you are not Hawkeye these spaces may slip through. As they did! English does NOT have spaces before their colons but I'm not sure about other languages. So I can't tell if this "terrible mistake" is widespread.

RE: Plus! 3 Norwegian corrections
True, but those are one of the things I always look, together with:
<space><space>
<space>.
<space>!
<space>:
<space>,
..
,,
<space>=
=<space>
<space>\
&<space>
(<space>
<space>)
"<space>
<space>"
And with Microsoft Word I always search for "<space>^p" to find spaces at the end of a line... So you see, many small technical errors can easly be searched for
