Dont install msn plus 3 unless you enjoy having loads of irremovable adware on your pc! . I think its a major letdown to what would have been the best msn upgrade , but now you have a new homepage that wont change and search bars on your ie, and new stuff in your favorites etc , and god knows how many other stupid bots laying around your system.! .

Suggestion: DO NOT PUT BOTS IN YOUR MSGPLUS, BECAUSE IT WOULD BE AMAZING IF IT DIDNT!

You seem to have installed the sponsor program by mistake: you selected "I ACCEPT, install the sponsor" in the installation program - most likely accidentally, without reading correctly. You can uninstall it easily by reading and following the instructions as given in http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=21598. If you follow those instructions exactly as given, you will have no more ads left, and the toolbar will be gone.
Remember that you should close as much open programs as possible, and you have to close all open browser windows in order for this to work.

The sponsor program has been added to let Patchou (the creator of the program) continue to work at Messenger Plus! daily; he has no full time job, but spends almost all his time programming Messenger Plus!. He thought this was the best way to keep the program freeware and still make a living.

The sponsor program is a package from LOP.com - and although many people know LOP.com as an agressive 'spyware' company, the package that comes bundled with Messenger Plus! is nothing like that. Basically, the main things it does is showing some ads from time to time and adding a search bar in Internet Explorer, some favourites and desktop shortcuts.

After uninstalling, please install Messenger Plus! again without the sponsor program; you will then be able to use the wonderful new functions Plus! has to offer you, without the annoyances from the sponsor program you are talking about

Thanks for the warning but unfortunately it's too late for me. Do you have a bug thing called msbb.exe ? And I know that I definately did not click I accept.

U installed the OPTIONAL sponsor (yes plus will install if u click NO).

Too late? All you need to do is uninstall Messenger Plus! after you've installed the sponsor program in order for it to be removed

sunshine: their was no option, for msn plus 2 their was butnot 3. it was automatic.

Nope, there is an option in Messenger Plus! 3 aswell

I've removed plus and tried every possible adware/spyware remover thingy majiggy but my system is now just full of bugs and everything

mine too. i will uninstall and install again, if i do get that warning, then i am very sorry for the posts/topics, but if i dont i will do a screenshot and show you.
