How he got Windows XP to work with MSN Messenger 5 and MP2 is really simple..and quite TOO simple. By default, MSN Messenger is going to run under Windows 2000 compatibility mode. Therefore, features such as video-conferencing will be unavailable in Messenger. I recommend if you want to use this, you stick to Windows Messenger 4.7. I too look foward to the final release of MP2.
why would video conferencing unavailable?? If that would happen. Patchou wouldnt have said that he managed to get it working!

You can only have video conferencing in XP Messengers... This messenger is 2000 (even though its on xp) therefore video conferencing isnt avaliable according to it, however they may be a way to turn the options on.

What's the big deal with video? If you want video conferencing use Netmeeting cos that also works with people not running XP. Messenger on XP simply combines MSN and Netmeeting.
