1. close down MSN Messenger

3. extract plugins.rar and place stuffplug-ng.dll and the Stuffplug-NG folder in C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\Plugins
4. rename cximage.dll (which can be found in cximage.rar) to cximagecrt.dll and place it in C:\WINDOWS\system32
5. Restart MSN Messenger

Well, I can't download it either... If i had it I could host it on a portuguese server.
Where can I download it really from?

This is the EXE linked from the first post, which I downloaded some days ago. If it's not allowed, sorry and let me or a mod know.

I couldnt believe it when I checked my plugins, and....it was actualli there

Heres a tip for everyone who cant get it to work, because this is where I went wrong...

1) download the zip file, which is somewhere in this thread
2)open the zip file, read the readme, and follow the instructions (Note when it says "unrar" you have to have a unrar program, so just search "rar" on any decent program site)
3) Download the installer located above.
4) Exit MSN
5) Run the installer
6) Restart MSN and it should now be displayed in plus>plugins, now click configure, and choose what you want

Hello, i know this is kind of an old topic, but i have read this thread countless times and can not get this plugin to work (stuffplugin-ng) for bigger display pictures.

if i say whot ive done so far. maybe some kinda gent/madam, could be of assistance.

1. added and changed the file to cximagecrt.dll to system 32 file.
2. downloaded the file plugin, and added it to the messenger plus 3 plugin file. reset messenger, and awaited the splash screen, but no joy.
3. i then entered "/xspoptions" in a conversation box, and had this message "this messgae is not recongised or an error has occured during its processing"

i did alos go look in the plugin file in msn plus 3 for a configure file, but no luck.

im not very hot with computers so all help and in basic terms much appreciated!

Try this:

1) open a new conversation window
2) click plus
3) click plugins
4) find Stuff Plug NG and click that
5) there should be a "configure"
6) Click that, and then a pop up should appear, and you can select which options you wish to have.

Dee: have you tried rebooting?

thanks for the suggestions, but when i go to the plus menu, plugins is still in grey, and unclickable.
have rebooted a few times, and really running outta options. is it worth deleting all the files and starting again????? plz help

re-tried it all again today, the cximagecrt.dll, i put in the windows sytem 32 file, but i didnt have to rename it or change it in anyway, it was alreday "cximagecrt.dll"
so then added the 'stuffplug-ng.dll" to the plus>plugins and reset msn, and me computer, but no luck. i alreday have an old stuffplug showing in the plugins file, should i remove this first?

i have msn 6.2 and plus 3, on windows xp, is this trio ok to work togther to run the stuffplug-ng??????? all help welcome
