Ok, here's the deal, I'm 15 and I now own a car (my mom will use it too...) ...well at least I will on Wednesday of next week

It's a 1996 Chevy Cavalier in AWESOME shape (Teal...I'll re-paint it at some point).
Interior is very clean and in good shape.
4 cylinder
2.2L engine (I believe)
Comfortable seats
Aprox. 120 hp (not sure the exact torque)
Quiet
Aprox. 30 mpg.
A/C (I live in a desert climate...)
Automatic transmission.
HUGE trunk
Airbags
Nice, Clean engine kept in VERY good shape (was used to go to and from work.)
$3500 Canadian (My mom paid, but I have to pay her back in payments every month )
The insurance is very cheap too (~$89/mnth Canadian)

What do you guys think? Did I get a good deal?

I'll post some pictures of the actual car when I get the car on Wednesday.
It looks similar to this one, but is a different colour (you know what TEAL is )

Nice car! I can't wait till next year so I can drive mine..(Yes I have one, its a dodge neon, i'm still workin on my system in it and workin on savin up money for rims,tinted windows ect..But I already picked out my system for it) Dude, get a nice system, tinted windows and all that good stuff..

I am After I pay it off I am going to buy
1) Stereo and speakers (already bought a $500 Amp for $25 )
2) Spoler/Rims/Tint
3) New exhaust/Body kit
4) Super Charger

@ supercharger, I don't think you'll need one...Anyways, work hard and get a nice system. I got most of mine bought but im still having to save up to get some more stuff..A spolier wont look good on that type of car, trust me, ma friend brandon has it it lookds

Depends on the spoiler, My friend has one on a similar car and it looks good

hmm i really dont think you should invest so much money in a 96 cavalier, you gotta remember its american built so they turn to crap after 10 years not like those 86 civics you still see beatin around lol. just my opinion
