I wanna unlock a cell phone that i have but i dont know how

Do you mean unlock a cell phone and its features? If so thats illegal and we wont help with it.

If you mean unblock from a network or call someone when your number is blocked - both are impossible

You can unlock it from a network, wot model phone have you got?

yes, that is possible and, IMHO, it isn't illegal. In fact, there are web sites where you can get the unlock code by free (i unlocked mine using one of those sites). Also the companies (at least in spain) must unlock it if you want (and because they're you have to pay them )

Companies here will only unlock it if you pay the full price of the phone and i think unlocking it voids the warranty, but i doubt it is illegal.

IMO it IS illegal if the company doesn't do it itself (hence if you don't pay them for it)

It's like modding a ps2 or xbox. It isn't illegal but it voids the warranty.

well when you mod your xbox u get banned from teh xbox live.... and microsoft cant really ban u if it isnt legal....

They can ban you. Modding it isn't illegal but playing pirated games is . Also they probably reserve the right to ban anyone.

in fact it is your phone but the point is that you don't phisically modify it, you just change the configuration, and that's why i think it's legal and the warranty should still apply.

modding a ps2 / xbox requires you change the hardware, so you have to open the box and that's why it losses the warranty.
