Bah, Damn IE. It looks like it needs to be a 24bit PNG instead of an 8bit.

24bit would make the file size significantly larger.

I just tried it in IE, and it works, but the color is a bit different and it doesn't match up as well as it does in Opera, which is strange...

In IE it looks extremely ugly, but it looks fine in firefox.

if it is 8bit, make it into a gif then. It will fix the gamma-problems. (although filesize is slithly larger though)

btw, do you still have the 24bit png of it? Because the one you've made has its colors reducing by using dithering, while the other images in the bar (and the original logo) don't...


same image, without gamma problems in MSIE...

GIF is dead... Why won't MS support it for once. You know how many nice things you can do with PNG24's alpha channel ... just if the most used browser supported it... (well, slowly it's getting less used ).

Anyway, the header looks good this way WDZ.
