RE: Sign in problems
Well, this is the same for me. I signed in and it was all ok for about 10 mins and then it just all closed down and tried to sign back in again but it failed, i Exited MSN and re- started it again and it worked fine up till now.
I think it is somthing wrong with the MSN server or somthing like that.

RE: Sign in problems
Aaargh, how annoying And i also sometimes get that message about my contactlist.. Didn't have any probs until about 45 mins ago.. Oh well, guess i'll just have to go and do something else
(but i'm glad to read it happens to a lot of people, so i know it isn't something to do with me)

RE: Sign in problems
Yes, as Anubis and some others already said in msn down?, some of the servers are down, but you can try the solution he posted: quote: Originally posted by Anubis
It isn't working, but I found a way to get on...A few of the servers are down, but you can get on using msnservers.zip...Just change to a server that when you test, you get a good response from..
Switching from messenger.hotmail.com (207.46.104.20) to messenger.hotmail.com ( 207.46.106.1) worked for me.
Use at own risk.

could someone explain to me why this is happening? im a little confused
The msn servers are busy so no one can connect. The best thing to do is wait till tomorrow or later today when everything dies down.

RE: Sign in problems
Some people, like me, are still online. However, there's no one else in my contact list on atm . The problems are worldwide and Microsoft hasn't said anything about it yet.
