I like making videos (on the pc) a lot and I would like to get a lot better at this. Could any one give me any tips hints and some resoruces to help me out?

Hmm, I couldpoint you in the direction of some advanced video editing software, but the link shouldn't really be given in here... .

You can really only go so far with Windows Movie Maker. For some cool effects try out VirtualDubMod, with some knowledge it can do a fair amount of stuff if you use it intern with some image creation software like Jasc Animation Shop. But to do the advanced stuff you're going to have to take a look around PC World, they have a ton of software, some must be decent.
