yep, they NEED the option enabled ;)

Edit: if you were to check by disabling it/ enabling it and DON'T sign out.. there will be no change (untill you sign out) :P

i am a stuffplug + stuffplug ng better tester and moderator on the forum :D

only you need to have the option your end.

this is how the feature works.

[list=1]
[*]you go to change your display picture
[*]you browse for a image, once found, you select this image
[*]Stuffplug intervines msn messenger trying to resize the display picture, and cuts a step.
[*]the display picture is sent to your contact via protocol
[*]contact displays image (whatever size it is)
[/list]

and your contact sees a non 96x96 display picture :)

Well, that's weird.
I don't have that feature enabled, coz it'll just clutter the contact card up.
They still have big DPs.

okay well i've told most contacts to get SPNG, nad yes it works fine... thx alot for tha help. The only problem now is the "The following message was not recieved by the following recipitents:" Thats really annoying... but thanx!!:):):)

But in MSN Messenger 7 the recieving client resizes the image also...
