I've sort of put a border around logo 3:

Here's my latest try...

Using a bit of everybodys' ideas i made this :

dempsey is picking blue designs so i think his site will be a blue kind of theme. so any more new ones should be blue or tranparent in my view

traxor's is the best. but the shade of grey behind the text doesn't totally fit... but maybe that's just my sense of aesthetics.
