O.P. Animated Emoticons in Emo Panel
As Everybody knows, Messanger 7 gives you the possibility to use animated gif files as animated emoticons. The size of this images can exceed the static emo size of 19x19 up to 50x50.

However, in the Messanger Emo Panel and in the Plus Emo Panel, when you want to choose one of them, you see them as static 19x19 emos...

If you have one or two animated emoticons, it's not a big problem, but if you have a lot, it can be very difficult to recognice each one...

Is it possible to have an option to view the emoticons in the plus panel in the original size (and animated if possible)? So that you know exactly how they will be when you put them in the message?

Running the animation would take up alot of memory. especially if you have alot of custom emotions in your panel.

Ways to get around this would be to hover your mouse over the emote and look at its name & shortcut code.

I hadnīt thought about that... It's true, but what about the size?

What about to have a mini preview of the emo when you  hover your mouse over the emote?

PS: Sorry about the other topic, I tought that perhaps there was a plugin to do that...:$

I can't see why the whole "hover preview" feature couldn't be implemented into MSN... Patchou may or may not do it, it all depends on whether it will require messing with the MSN Protocol, which is what Patchou tries not to do...

But if he won't do it, I'm sure somebody else would...

You could even try emailing MSN ;).

Doesn't require any messing with the protocol; nothing is send, received, or whatever. It "simply" (mind the quotes) is "looking up" your own custom emoticons (like it already does) and showing them with an animated GIF object (instead of the current static GIF object), which takes lots of memory btw....

simply because it isn't implemented yet; it isn't programmed to do that.
