O.P. RE: Disbale the event logger
but it logs everything anyway, thats the problem!! you just have to clock on the "event log window" to get it all displayed. No way to turn it off...

Ah, I see what you mean.
Well, don't know what else to suggest really, except use the Messenger Lock feature if you're going to leave the PC alone for any length of time.
