same here but it comes on after 2 hours

I let mine go in to sleep mode.  Don't use screensavers....

Just wondering:  Can the screen get burnt in like the CRT moniters, in lcds?

I have an "advertisement" for AMD Athlon as my screensaver. Got it from a buddy...has this little "flubber-like" dude that tries multiple ways to break through your monitor screen...everything from machine guns to lasers to bouncing off of it (all of this has sound). Finally ends with him slinging the processor at the monitor, which breaks it. Lasts about 7 minutes or so...afterwards comp goes into stand-by, 20 minutes later hdd powers down and 20 minutes after THAT hibernates.

i just turn my monitor off if i have to go away from the computer

and supersonick do u have the sound aswell i wouldnt be able to stand that

default XP Pro screensaver, but i turn my screen off when im not here anyway.

I personally got the MSN one.. shows rlly pretty wallpapers and how many emails/new msn convos u got on ur desktop

I don't use screensavers as I'm rarely away from the computer.

When I get a full I'll turn off the monitor. For now, I'm stuck with the laptop... (Although closing the lid is supposed to turn off the monitor or something like that...)

wont using such thing take up power and stuff and kill the use of a screensaver??
