Well, exactly. We can provide standardised markup - but also allow users to specify their own if they want to go above and beyond what is provided by the basic structure.

We're pretty much right now (from what wj has told me anyway). He's going to design the base markup - and then we'll probably make different versions of it for those who want to make designs with (for example) 1 column, 2 columns and 3 columns.
