If you can run Windows XP or on your machine you will be fine with Windows Vista.

i loooove the new design, heard about the boot up times/new sleep things; i know its old news but i think its cool, my comp takes AGES to load up. I was thinking bout getting it instead of windows xp with my new computer i am building but im not too sure when its coming/if its out yet...

Thats what i feel too

well... it just says three secs, but with the sound of this new thing they are putting in, sleep or somthing, doesnt look like ill be shutting it down anyway, background tasks AND low power!!!

nah, i think that is the suggetsion to businesses, that about them not HAVING to get it yet, but can hold out till 2008, i think it shoudl be out before then

Wrong, the thread you are talking about was about when Vista is released cristmas time 2006 companies should not make a rush out of upgrading to Vista untill 2008, and it was NOT a MS guy who said it
