That doesn't even make sense, the PSP is a Playstation Portable, whereas, the XBOX 360 is a next-generation console, the 360 completely owns the PSP in everyway possible... It is like saying the Gameboy Advance is better than the Playstation 2, it doesn't make any sense?

Don't waste your money.Until they improve the software it isn't worth it.

RE: Should I get a PSP?
I personally don't see much of a need for myself to get a PSP.
The internet feature has little point for myself, a computer can use the internet, and most of the time I'm in range of a wireless lan (with internet) I'm actually in my house and have accses to a computer!
Online gaming, and the games for it, are good, but I prefer using computers for gaming online and with friends.
At the end of the day, I don't have much point for a PSP, all the features of it, I can use without having to own one anyway. If I'm out of my house, many of the PSP features become unusable (such as T'internet).
Despite the gfx of the thing, I'm still very happy with GBA games for the limited time I spend wanting to play games on holiday or out of my house. And I've had that GBA for many years.

Yeah, that's what I think too. Unless I could easily afford it, I don't think it's worth it. I didn't get one for my birthday either.

RE: Should I get a PSP?
with PSPs, dont you have to buy those special DVDs (i forget what they're called now)? you buy a DVD for home use, and then if you wnat one for your PSP that's another 30bucks or however much.i dont like that bit about the psp...i'm not a gamer, but i want one for some reason maybe it's all the hype, and it's getting to me
so....i guess yeah, cross your fingers for one

and to contribute to the thread:
Dont get a PSP, get a LIFE!
Seriously now, do what you want to do, dont ask others, you should know there will be different opinions, one says "Yes", another one says "No" and then someone says "Whats a PSP..is it for porn?"
I say think it through, do you really need it, do you really want it, are you this type of person who forgets about stuff after couple of weeks? In the end you're the one who has to make the choice.

I think it's the hype for me too. And I've Thought_it_though and decided not to get one. I am a person who forgets about stuff after a couple of weeks. I wanted people opinions because the people who already have a PSP could tell me any really cool things about it or if they did get bored of it after a few weeks. I think that I would so it's not worth it for me.
Edit: I'm glad that I came to my sences also because I didn't want my parents buying it and me ending up not playing it... UNLESS they have bought it for christmas, but that's unlikely.

Yes, if you're really that type of person then its just going to be waste of money, i know because im the same type of person
When people tell you cool stuff about it, that's when you get all hyped up, you start thinking the things you would do on it and when you get one you'll be like "Well i dont want to .. " or something like that.
Glad you came to your senses
