Me too. M:M is crap.

That's your personal opinion.  I'm still not seeing any justification or warrant for you to initiate a lampoon campaign of Messenger:Mate, Versoworks, and/or the creator/owner.

I highly doubt that you've tried the recent versions of the product.  Maybe, a while ago, you tried the "Lite" version, but not the most current.  Please do so before labeling and comparing.

I highly enjoy the fact that "ShawnZ" reviewed my original post, but his reply only slightly addressed my comments.  He completely failed to address my disprooving of 99% of the statements he made against Messenger:Mate.

I don't blame them for trying to plug their software especially since you have to pay for it. From what I can see is it is a replacement to MSN Messenger similiar to Trillian. Now if this is correct they should be aware that it is illegal to use the MSN Messenger servers without consent from Microsoft themselves. Now again if this is the case a client cannot be compared to an Add-on. Clients can do much more then an addon can simply because there are less limitations. If the creators would be willing to provide me with a copy of it I will be willing to test it out and compare the two.

Don't come to our forums, whining about your ripped software from MsgPlus! with the random bullcrap on your site.

nvez, a couple people from here went into their forums. He obviously thinks what they said was wrong, so he came into here trying to give the right facts (don't go and post about who is right and wrong here, I've just skimmed through the stuff).

He has a right.

Matty, it looks like it is something like Plus!. It isn't an MSN Client, it hooks into MSN just like Plus! does .

well imo Patchou should make a comparison page, possibly linked to from the main page itself "Msgplus Compared to other Alternatives".

Stating at the top that the content on this page is fairly comparing the features of both msgplus and msn:mate with a link to the msn:mate comparsion.

People who make such claims/comparisions without actually checking the features that plus has suck !!!!

Should we write a letter to the admin stating about the mistakes that  they have made (intentionally ?? possibly to promote their product)

Patchou wouldn't do something like that and you know it.
These people are just jealous of Plus!' popularity and are hoping that someone believes this kind of biased comparison. They talk about what features are on M:M and aren't on Plus!, even though we know that if we did the opposite comparison the chart would be way bigger .

Some of use came to the Messenger:Mate forum, doing the exact same. What did you expect?

I don't understand why some people make such a big deal out of this. There are hunderds of pages claiming Plus! contains viruses and a whole lot of other stuff is written. And when some small plugin tries to get some attention, peoplw act like it's the worst thing they seen.

The guy admitted he was wrong about two things and he changed it. You could discuss if it's alware or not for ages... the truth is: There are banners and a searchbar bundled (optional doesn't mean something is not bundeled). People label searchar plugins as malware... at least it doesn't say spyware or virus.

All the other things that are left on the page are true. Ofcourse everything is written in a way to makes his own program look good. The guy would be insane  when he didn't do that.
