Hi guys,
I have a Linksys WAG54G router (802.11g/b and 4 RJ45 Ports) on the library, my desktop with an USB 802.11g Adapter and my father's laptop with a Belkin (don't know the model) PCMCIA 802.11g Adapter, which roams around the house.
My room is right above the library, so I get a really good speed all the time.
The problem is the laptop. My father often uses it on the living room which is about 5-10 meters away with 2/3 walls on its way. The speed gets really low, down to 1Mbps most times
So what I'm thinking is if a Wireless Access Point connected through an ethernet cable to my router would be able to provide wireless access on the living room, so I'd have good signal strength all over the place ?
Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Johny
