O.P. Personalised status order
Hi,
The personalised status order list is displayed in a strange order (both in the interface where you add them and when you go to select one). It's not alphabetical, and not in the order you create them. Looking in the registry, it creates a key for each status called

Status1, Status2, Status14, etc

and then uses this id as the basis to display them. An alphabetical sort based on that induces an order such as this:

Status1
Status10
Status11
..
Status19
Status2
Status20
Status21
Status3
Status4

which is the order of the list.

Thus, if you have more than 9 statuses and want to choose the order they are listed in, you have to put some thought into what order you add them!

Can this be adjusted so either the ID is stored with a preceeding zero such as Status01, Status02 etc so they would be then automatically sorted by the order that they are added, or provide an option to sort based on the Status name. Or both! The current method is not sane.

Cheers,

john

John,

This seems to go hand in hand with the post I made about the statuses. Obviously, you took the time to do the additional homework I hadn't gotten around to... thanks for the heads up! :)
