That's the whole point... It didn't worked with 7.5, it can't be since the protocol 7.5 uses was already changed so it didn't worked anymore.
Back when 7.0 wasn't released yet, it did work (thus when everybody used 6.x). As soon as messenger 7.0 was released such notifiers stopped working as that also introduced the new protocol (roughly speaking).

The toasts don't dissapear after they pop up for a while until i click on it or the messenger window, is there anywhere that i can change it so that the msgpL will auto close them faster?
::edit:: noticed, they DO close, just takes a long time. so i edited my question

they disappear for me. are you sure u've waited long enough or that ur cursor is not over the toast?
edit: How long does it take for them to close?
edit: PS: Messenger PLus! Live is generally abbreviated to MP!L, and Windows Live Messenger to WLM

it takes it about a good 40 sec to a min or so to close. Maybe it's the regular time it's supposed to take, but i find it's too long ^^".
is there some global variable that could be changed in MP!L (^^) that controls the length of which the toasts stay visible?

yeh, that does sound too long. i can't find anything obviously to do with the time delay in the code, but i'm not an expert so that doesnt mean its not there. I wouldnt have thought it would be anything to do with MP!L, because other toasts, such as someone changing their personal message don't take that long, do they?
