get 2 error messages when i try to open the downloaded file .. it won't open from the download either .. messages are :  MSGPLUSLIVE-401.EXE file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:IsWow64Process" ... and the other is "a device attached to the system is not functioning"
please help

I think the KERNEL32.DLL is missing in your computer. Download it from here and move it into the System32 folder(\Windows\System32).

cozboz, what is version of windows ?

I'm guessing it's windows 64 bit?

euh i have the same problem as well, but i DO have the KERNEL32.dll, it's in "C:\WINNT\system32" and yet i still get that error, can someone help please...

This is because you do not have Windows XP SP2.  Visit WindowsUpdate to get it:

errrrrrrrr i'm trying to download the one for windows 2000 and yes i am downloading the correct one, NOT the "Messenger Plus! Live"...

i have sp4 for windows, i don't know what's wrong.
