While NagamasaAzai is going to post the link, I also need to mention that such notifiers don't work anymore as "open window notifiers".
This is because a very long time ago MSN changed the way it reports such events to the Messenger client. In fact, the event which is triggered when a contact opens a chat window with you is also used in many other events like viewing a display picture, contact card, you looking at offline messages, etc... etc... in short, whenever a "switchboard session" is opened.
In other words, they are seriously inaccurate to notify you when someone opens a convo window (eventhough people say it
works for them or say they can
indentify the false alerts).
Hence why such notifiers should now be called "open sessions notifiers" as that accuratly describes what they actually do.
