Why is the icon next to "NEW THREAD" bigger than that next to "POST REPLY"? It's kind of dodgy.

seems to me those icons don't belongn together...

Probably because the "New Thread" icon is also used on the topics page... It was probably meant to be used alone and the "Post Reply" icon was made to match it afterwards

it doesnt really matter because i've never noticed that before, and wouldnt for another couple of years if it wasnt for you...

and admins will be too lazy to make a new one and replace it

Not only is the icon bigger, the total image height is 1 pixel higher too, making them not align vertically.
