Guys :D

Who cares about notifying? :D

We are saying that it notifies you with a toast message, EVEN when the person is appearing offline ;)

This is kinda cool y'know :P

Great script! Can this script be extended to support

Displays a toast message when someone closes a conversation with you?
Don’t say CD’s to say more than one CD. It is CDs.

That cannot be possible to make since wlm closes the connnection when it is closed so we do not know when the convo is closed =/. Or something like that.
But simple answer: No i cannot be done :) Hope it helps.

Hello,
the script works,exept some bugs.
On certain contacts is opening notifications continuosly (I think it's impossible that that person is checking me out all day long).
Then, since I've installed it very often a pop up notification appears telling me there has been a problem with the messenger and the program is going to be closed. This happens about 3 times in a hour.
More, tonight when I was writing to my contacts messagges of just emoticons,it disabled me the "send" button,on the messenger window and on the pc both, everything else was working but this.
so i had to close the convo window and open it once more -.-
I don't know if I'm the only one who encurred these problems, but I though this would help you to ameliore the script...

Throughout this thread it has been documented that v1.10 makes WLM crash.  You need to go to the scripts database and search for Convo Notifier v0.2 for the latest "working version"

That is not a bug and simply how such notifiers work.

Also, such notifiers do not just notify you when a contact is opening a conversation window with you. But they notify you when a session is opened.

A session is something completely different than opening a conversation. It can include a conversation being created or someone clicking on your name to see your contact card, but mostly a session can mean a whole lot more things than a contact checking you out.

Also, the Messenger of your contact can trigger such notifications on its own, the contact doesn't even need to be on his PC at that time.

Do not trust such notifiers for things like "the contact has openend a conversation with you" or even "the contact is checking you out", they give more false alarms than correct alarms and there is no way to determine which is a false alarm or which is a correct alarm (eventhough some people claim they can, it is in reality impossible).

;)
