i think you should add many new emotions to msn, like that person up there said. Cuz msn emotions kinda bite. I also agree with many other people on their points of veiw, even though i barely understand them lol. but i agree with the emotions one the best!

adding new emoticons would mean ckacking the MSN exe, which is illegal. if you want new emoticons, go to mess.be

i never get bored of MSN Emoticons, they are the best!!! but there are not enough of them... you lose feelings like and so on...

two friends suggestions
a feature to know if a contact has blocked you

a feature to predefine a colour and a true type for every contact

I did suggest a profanty filter of some sort last time. would be great for parents who have kids who use messenger. it would ether come up with "the last message had profanty and did not send" or be blank.. aslo pwd protect the option so it cant be switched off

compression / zip of log files could be nice...of course with a encryption if needed..

I would like to see it possible for you to rename contacts to how you would want to see them. 

For example, if your contact is Nick, and you know 3 Nicks, then you can put them as Nick R, Nick P and Nick L.

What do you reckon?
