A kid at my college almost got banned. We used netsend to send messages to a network IP. If you don't enter the IP then it gets sent to every computer, not only in the college, but the WHOLE network (including the university and some local businesses)

When you send a message with netsend, how does it get displayed?

I think it is disabled here anyway

well you have to have messenger enabled (administrative options)

Like windows messenger?

EDIT: yep, netsend is not recognized as an executable.

Exactly. Thats what I would have done Then again I don't have such problems. I freely access the internet from my univ and I have explicit permission from my college profs to do whatever I want They know I don't misuse services. Trust, the oh so key factor
Btw, It pays to have admin access to every pc in univ
