I loved the features this had to offer, unfortunatly ive had a few disagreements with this script.

It seemed to display toasts frequently for some, and not at all for others.
The script would randomly cause Messenger to crash (seemingly with no pattern) - This is the reason i have stopped using this script.
When clicking a toast to open a conversation with a contact, either nothing would happen or messenger would crash.

Seems like this is not working anymore for my LIVE Messenger .. strange ... for vista.

Yes it doesn't work for me ... Vista Home Premium ..

I thought it might be something to do with Vista's UAC so I ran WLM 8.1 as administrator (right click) hoping it would solve the issue, but it hasn't

Well, I just uninstalled all other scripts, then installed Live Notifier as only script, and it is working for me just fine. At first I wasn't able to install at all, WLM did crash. Now I reinstalled also other scripts ,I do get alerts when someone is opening convo, so it is working.
And Bryan84, did you disabled just UAC ,or also DEP?
Copy-paste this to command prompt window:
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff ,restart your computer, then try again.
