when will you be making a version 8.5 compatable copy of this script?

It should be compatible right now, I can't see a reason for it not to work....  We'll test it out later but there shouldnt be any reason why it won't work with any version of messenger as long as you have messenger plus live.

(oh and i have to add the I'm and bunny emoticons)

well it kinda works but you cannot turn it off on a per contact basis like you used to be able to do, any attempt to do so will result in the script freezing, so either everyone on your contact list has to received gradiented text and suffer if they dont have plus or you have to turn the whole script off theres no inbetween on wlm 8.5

That is really weird, I'll look into it some more, it might be a bug with plus' scripting engine

Have you made a group by pressing the "Add Group" button first?  Without having a group then nothing can be changed (no contacts can be added either).  Hopefully we can shortly release a new version of the script to make some alerts for this and fix some other problems that we have noticed.

a new version would be great, i cant wait.

Thanks guys for all of your interest but I don't know how long it will take for this minor update.  We really need to work on web2live and get that working, and my laptop is in getting fixed (again) so we're having to share the one computer.  We'll see what happens, no promises on dates but we do realise that we need to make some adjustments.
