ermmmmmmmmm you can get an external hdd on it just as easy, and you can get composite out of the box, or hdmi if you really want it for really cheap (20usd or something.)

I haven't quite played on the 360 (only those demos at EB Games), but have a played a bit on the PS3. It seems like PS3 is cooler. I personally don't have close friends that have a 360. Just Wiis and PS3s.

PS3 - the hardware isn't a bit better than the 360, it's a lot better. The Cell BE when properly utilised... well. It's scary-fast.

As far as I can see though, it looks like most of the PS3 exlusives might not be as exclusive as one might think: The only "big name" titles I can think of that we were promised that are still exclusive will be MSG4 [which may still go XBox, I know the last two did] and GT5.

Also, you probably won't have backwards-compatibility with the PS2 unless you get an MGS4-special-edition pack.

As for the 360.. well it just came down in price again.

Also, 360 gets GTA DLC.

If you go to Game and trade in your PS2 and all your old games you'll be able to get money off a PS3 bundle and save urself a packet.  I traded in my PS2 + about 30 games (ranging from 0-5 yrs old), 4 controllers and 2 memory cards and knocked about £250 off the price of the £450 bundle that i got in September

PS3 is without a doubt the best thing I've ever bought and if Sony's what you know (having had a PS2) then i'd definitely recommend you stick with it and go for the PS3

Don't see how, I used to have a PS2, it was what I knew, but then I upgraded to a 360 and it's the best choice I've ever made.

Wtf, the XBOX 360 (non-Elite) does have a HDMI port - in fact I'm using it right now, for the rest refer to shawnz' post earlier in this thread.

The PlayStation is like Bollywood (look it up), it has a game production rate of 50 per day (exaggeration) but they're all pretty much the same and they're all crappy.
