Anyone got any idea how I can download a video which is in one of these annoying video players, like this?

Comedy.com isn't supported by any of the firefox extensions. Can't think of anything else, other then screen video recording. I'm trying different recorders at the moment but not getting very far. Edit: They're all just recording a black screen, had to mess around with the codecs, etc.

Replay Media Catcher should do it! =]

or real player

DownloadHelper is probably the best in my opinion.

I haven't tried the rest of the suggestions, though, but anyway, see how you go

TubeHunter . Defintly the best and most reliable one ive used thus far.

Never, EVER suggest RealPlayer to anyone! It is by far the worst of all the media players. More annoying than Windows media Player, more resource hungry than QuickTime, and harder to get rid of than Norton AntiVirus.

Note: I hate RealPlayer.

Edit: Actually, this may be relevant to me. I do use Firefox after all

Bit dodgy. Downloaded lots of different files and couldn't find the one I wanted.

Hmm, maybe not. When you click the DownloadHelper drop-down button it shows you can download a couple different .flv files, which are parts of the video, but only about 10secs long each, so I can't get the full video

real player works perfect for me doesn't seem resource hungry but i have never wanted to uninstalll it,
though once upon a time i agree it was rubbish
