I've have had my 5th Gen video ipod for probably more than 3 years now, and its still like new.

yeah that sucks.... i don't like the fact that you can't use your iPod touch or iPhone as a hard Drive.... but i do know how to copy your iPhone's music to your PC you need iDump it's freeware just google it>download>install>enjoy it also solves that Syncing problem when you are trying to take your friend's music

I have a ipod nano and a ipod touch. They are named and they are good for music and i wouldnt sell dem.

It can play music. It lasts longer in terms of battery life compared to my PSP.
