I posted in another thread some more technical information as to whats going on with WLM 2009 and Music Now Playing.

Splitting these values into an array with their meanings results in something like this:

WLM 8.5 and lower will use the value of [3] to determine how the PSM is shown inside the client. In WLM 14, this was changed so now only the default format of "{0} - {1}" Is used, and ignores the formatting string altogether.

Now here's where dt's Music now Playing comes in. MNP because it can show more than song artist and album, can't use these 3 fields alone. Instead, the whole thing is written as the format instead.
Here's an example:

So in fact WLM 14 is showing the "What I'm Listening to" properly, its showing"<song> - <artist>" which if you're using MNP results in " - "

i have problem with the script VLC WHAT I'M PLAYING 1.00 in the Live Messenger---Personal Message it doesn't show the song who play the VLC...what can i do???


Remind:i have check  "show what i'm listening " in personal message

{elapsed} and {bar} don't work for me...They are just stuck on 0:01(elapsed) and [|........](bar)...Anyone help?

They only show the actual numbers and positions when using the (!WAT) and /wnp like features.

Forgot to mention i have problems with
{listpos}
and
{listlength}

it shows Undefined on both...I use WMP..

so the support for WLM 14 is dead?!?

It works fine with WLM14 =)
It will only display a miswritten link in your contact's contact list, while showing normally in a convo window.

What it should do is update the media string with the proper artist and album filled in so that it will still display in the contact list. Then it will display the custom string in the convo window.

Edit: Looks like the change needs to happen on line 237 of main.js, I'll see what I can do.
