I'm using Ctrl+Space to lock and Ctrl+Shift+Space to unlock. But after unlocking, the icon (pinned in the taskbar) doesn't show the status indicator anymore. I have to change my status in order to make it appear.
Anyone else experienced this?

RE: Lock messenger and Windows 7
as a completely unrelated note, you should really get in the habit of using "lock workstation" instead, especially now that it's been improved on vista/win7 to work in any configuration. it's much more secure. (start > shutdown menu > lock, or windowskey+L)

What if you are supossed to be working or doing anything else and not chatting? Lock workstation isn't useful there.
er, then messenger lock is useless anyway, since you could just unlock it?
