I'm sorry, Chrissy, but are you thick? Yuna Software's primary goal, whether they'll admit it or not, is to make a horde of cash. They may wish for Messenger Plus! Live to be a good piece of software with a large community, but that will never be their primary interest.
The reason Yuna bundles toolbars (no hyphen) is so that they can make that money without alienating a community that lives in the time of freeware. They'll buy servers when they have enough money from advertising and toolbars to make themselves rich while being able to afford to spend.
Of course, there is no problem with this. It's plain, simple, capitalism. I also agree with Menthix in that I'd rather speculate wildly with no solid information than be stampeded by a hundred excessively excitable teenagers who haven't figured out why Google is trying to kill the Caps Lock key.
