The problem is nVidia and its incompatible/buggy drivers.
Note that other software has similar issues with nVidia stuff.

Intel for all" instead of "
nVidia for all" in the
nVidia Optimus tool. Essentially disabling some so called 'optimizations' that nVidia does. Those kind of optimizations that nVidia does are actually quite often not needed at all and can cause trouble.
