On the cameno thread some say this (type of) problem could/has something do to with Windows messenger being removed/disabled... Does anyone here know how to reinstall Windows Messenger?
Exactly the reason why you shouldn't uninstall or disable Windows Messenger on XP... There is a reason why MS doesn't want you to uninstall it...
That's for the dutch version of Windows Messenger. The official homepage is http://messenger.microsoft.com/ This will redirect you to the download page of Messenger in your language... Anyways... what I wanted to add: if you reinstall Windows Messenger, it can be acting up again in different situations you don't like. In that case, "HIDE" Windows Messenger as described here: http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=21...d=201175#pid201175
Once you get it you can hide it
*Caution* You could be lame if you are not careful
